Free event! School’s Out for Summer!

Come along to Seacourt on Saturday 4th July between 12-4 for a fun event to mark the start of the summer holidays!

Join us for a day of family fun to celebrate the start of summer! We’re making monoprints inspired by David Hockney’s portraits.

Mono prints are made by drawing an image on the back of a piece of paper that has been laid on an inked up surface – as you lean on the page with your pen/ pencil, the image is transferred onto the paper, resulting in a unique hybrid drawing/print.

Suitable for all ages – children and adults! We will be encouraging you to do two drawings – these could be self portraits, or capturing your favourite pet (have you seen Hockney’s dachshund paintings?), and to bring one home, and leave one for us to start creating a gallery of images that will be displayed throughout summer.

This is a free drop in event, but all donations are welcome!
