Seacourt offers access to the widest range of printmaking techniques in Ireland.
Alongside our well equipped workshop we offer a limited selection of papers and inks for sale.
Equipment
We have a wide range of equipment with some unique presses and hardware across etching, screen printing, letterpress, plate lithography, and relief printing.
Etching
- Two Harry Rochat Etching Presses, bed sizes 26″ and 32″ width
- One small starwheel press
- Four table top presses
- Guillotine for cutting metal plates
- Copper, Aluminium, Perspex and Axpet Polyethylene sheets available for purchase
- Photec Photo-sensitive laminate for Photo-intaglio applications available for purchase
- Copper Sulphate tanks for etching aluminum and zinc
Relief Printing
- Columbian Press, built in 1825, bed size 20″ x 26″
- Small Colombian press built in 1900's, bed size 20" x 26"
- A hand-operated 24″x 32″ cylinder letterpress
- A number of book presses of various sizes
- Lino sheets to purchase
Letterpress
We have an extensive collection of Letterpress type across various fonts and sizes. We also have three Adana hand presses that we can bring to events.
Screen Printing
- Three Vacuum Printing Tables with squeegee arms
- LED Exposure unit with exposure surface 48" x 60"
- A back-lit Washout Booth and Power Washer
- Drying cabinet for screens
- A number of large and medium-size screenprinting frames
- Several portable screenprinting units
- Seacourt uses only water-based screenprinting inks

Have you got equipment you would like to donate?
