Bangor is an Energy

Bangor is an Energy
“Bangor is an energy” was coined by John Lydon when PiL performed on Bangor seafront in 2018. Using this quote as a jumping off point, The Court House commissioned four artists from Seacourt working in screenprint, to create a design/s that celebrates Bangor’s music scene and speaks to the⁣ appetite of a place that is reinventing itself through vibrant arts-lead action.⁣

Four artists – Craig Jefferson, Jessica Hollywood, Imogen Donegan and Steph Harrison have produced a body of work that is diverse in style, yet similar in vibrancy and energy. We cannot wait to see the work hanging in this amazing venue. ⁣

The opening will take place on Friday 29 November from 5pm-7pm – meet the artists, and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine on arrival. ⁣

The exhibition will take place in “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘮” on the 1st floor of the venue. ⁣

‘𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆’ is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.⁣
